The ZP-97 Battery Powered Tool is designed to accommodate 5/8 to 3/4 inch PET and PP strapping with a thickness range of 0.65 to 1.27 mm, offering a maximum tension of 880 lbs. Its friction weld seal provides an efficiency of 85% ± 5%. Powered by an 18-volt 4.0 AH lithium-ion battery, the tool weighs just 7.5 lbs with the battery installed and features a quick 30-minute charging time. Each tool comes standard with two batteries and a charger.

Weighing just 7.5 lbs, the ZP-97A is lighter than its predecessor, the ZP-96, thanks to its new 18V Li-Ion battery. The updated design enables easy, single-handed operation and complies with CE safety regulations.
